The long standing demand of casting well known writer and colleague Jogi to a cinema evolved in the mind of Rockline Venkatesh first. It has now come true in ‘Mamu Tea Angadi’. H Girish Rao popularly known as Jogi is in the role of a passionate producer. He has appeared for one day shoot on the request of director Paramesh.

In the field of writing and doing journalism as head of Magazine section of Udayavani Jogi made his first presence in the 26 years of attachment to the field of cinema and television.

Jogi in his college days stated plays like Tuglak, Yamala Prashne, Odalaala etc. It was a good experience working with the new team of ‘Mamu Tea Angadi’ although it was a small role. It is of course debut for Jogi who has analyzed innumerable debut and senior actors in his columns.
